What is a Coach?
I believe whole heartedly that you cannot lead anyone somewhere you haven’t been. You must have decades of actual experiences packed with applicable knowledge before you call yourself a COACH. You must have acquired 10,000 hours of evidence-based experience and be at the top of your
game to be in this category.
A coach’s perspective must be based on evidentiary facts that has been experienced, not speculation or hear-say. Coach is the translator of skill and knowledge. The world is changed by your example not by your opinion. Knowledge is power but executing what you know is even more powerful. It is important to demonstrate accurately skills and words, into actions. In every experience, your skill and knowledge are tested, defined and challenged by every conversation and every new client. The more experience a Personal Trainer has with the public, the more versatility and skills will be acquired. Every person’s body is as unique as their
personalities. Nothing about the human body is Generic.
A Coach must have exceptional communication, observational and verbal skills. Observation is a skill that cannot be taught. It is not about getting the exercise right; it is being able to recognize when it is wrong and getting the client to understand and observe how their mind and body perceives where it is positioned. Good coaches prequalify their clients and will not train just anyone. Training just for money is NOT an option. It’s important to have an open conversation on both perspectives, the trainer and the potential client. Personal training services like every public service, trust is your selling point.
Good coaches sell results. Teaches systems for success, requires massive commitment from their clients. Westfit has a program in place that allows our clients to learn the skills necessary to sustain a leaner stronger fit physique. The Coach Westfit, cares about your success.
